Navy Earth System Prediction Capability (Navy ESPC) system: a global coupled atmosphere-ocean-sea ice forecast system. The motivation for fine resolution in the ocean will be presented.

- Field trip to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model -- 2/12 11:30am - 5pm. The Bay Model is a working hydraulic scale model of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta System. We have a tour scheduled at 1pm, so we need to leave Davis by 11:30am.
